I am always changing things around ! I am also forever finding books!!
I have more room for books and wee spots to study.
This side piece I found for $75.00 at my local resale shop, it's really a desk with two file cabinets! I really can use that.
Our family alter.
It used to be at the fireplace, but we found a quiet niche in the Library.
I think family alters are not as common as they should be. It's a wonderful meeting place in your home to pray, sing, read or just stand, sit or kneel in God's presence.
Great comfort for the whole family.

Your library is beautiful, Rayanne. It's so nice to see the dark wood in your home, as I have that also. You see furniture these days that is white and such, and I think I will always prefer the traditional dark wood. Your alter is such a special place. I would find myself there several times a day.
